  • First of all, visit the official link of online transfer portal for GDS.
  • you will find the below screen.

  • Now, you have to register yourself on this portal by using your CSI ID as a User ID.
  • Enter your CSI ID in the field of user id. click on Set/Reset password option. 
  • A new page will be displayed for the creation of new password. 
  • Enter the desired password and click submit button. 
  • You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.

  • Click on Utilities option available on the home screen and click on Rule 3 Application button. You will get the below screen.

  5. Employee Community

  •  After entering of above details click on validate option, the system will show an error if any option is missing. Otherwise, the below screen will appear.
  • Now choose your preference for up to 10 posts by choosing circle, division, and post office name accordingly.  
  • Now click on the submit button. a popup will appear on the screen showing message 'please make sure that data is correct. Application once submitted, can not be modified.'
  • Click on confirm button.
  • A message will appear on the screen i.e your rule 3 request has been submitted successfully.
  • Write down your reference number for your rule 3 request for further use.

Question 01- While creating account on GDS Online Transfer Portal, it is showing Employee ID is not available. 

Answer- You have to raise your query to your divisional office. Divisional Office will update your employee data for your employee ID on the GDS Transfer portal.


Question 02- When I request for transfer, it is showing that your Mobile Number is not available. What will I do?

Answer- Sometimes, data is not updated automatically on GDS Transfer online portal. The divisional office will update your mobile number on the system. Just you have to ask them for the same.


Question 03- I am unable to log in at GDS Online Transfer Portal. The system is showing your user name Password Incorrect or Not set. 

Answer- This error occurs when a user attempts the first login. The employee needs to set their password before applying to transfer. If you forgot your password then you can get password on your registered mobile number through forgot password option.


Question 04-  I am getting an error i.e. employee Details showing a Duplicate on Gramin Dak Sevak Online Transfer Portal? How I resolve it?

Answer- In this situation, the employee needs to contact their divisional office. The Divisional office will remove additional rows for your login on the system.  After that this error will not occur again.
