was introduced on 1st February 1884. At present, Rs. 50 lakh is the upper limit of PLI. This means you can get PLI policy up t  Rs. 50 lakh. This product of the Department of Posts is also popular for investment money for the future because PLI gives high bouns to other life insurance companies.

02. Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) was introduced from 24.03.1995. The main objective RPLI scheme is to provide insurance in the rural areas of India. It covers to spread awareness regarding insurance among peoples who are living in rural areas. It gives benefits to weaker sections of people and women workers in rural areas.
