PLI holder (customer) has to write a simple application by addressing it to the postmaster. After login into PLI Customer Portal from the above link, you have to click on generate Customer ID. A new popup will appear to fill in all required information like policy number, sum assured, insured first name, date of birth, mobile number, email id.

Just enter all the details and click on Submit button. You will receive a registration link to your registered email id to set the password. Open this link into your mobile browser and set your password.

Now, your customer ID and Password have been generated. You can log in to the portal or any other PLI online payment app for online PLI premium payment.

Step 3- Procedure to pay PLI online payment by using credit card in a simple way

Although PLI customers can deposit PLI premium online through various methods, PLI payment online by using credit card is more popular among people. It is the final and third method for online payment of PLI (premium). You have to follow the below procedure for it.

First of all, you have to login into PLI Login Online Customer Portal with the help of the customer Id and password. Click on the Payment option which is present in the menu bar and select pay premium.

Select your PLI policy and click on pay premium. Just enter the number of installments which you want to pay and click on confirm payment button. 

Confirm the total amount which you want to pay and click on pay now button. now select a payment method as a credit card. Enter your credit card detail and click on submit button.

An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click submit. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
