(Advance) Passbook Printer Setting for Post offices

Passbook printers are now available in each and every post office. When a new Passbook printer is installed at any post office, the passbook printer setting must be done by post office staff.

Passbook Printer Setting

  • First of all, you have to add Generic IBM Graphics 9 Pin Wide printer in the device and printers option in a computer.
  • Now click on the Print Server Properties option available on the top. A new window will appear.
  • Click on Forms Tab and create a new form.
  • Click on Create New Form option and enter a name as newpassbook01 and enter the paper size as below- Width- 8.20in, Left- 0.20in, Top- 0.80in, Height- 5.80in, Right- 0.00in, Bottom- 0.00in, 
  • After that, save this new form.
  • Now, go to the advanced Tab and choose paper size as newpassbook01 and print quality as 240 x 216 dots per inch.
  • Now, go to Device Setting Tab and choose Tractor Feed as newpassbook01.
  • Click on Save.
If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or higher version page setup on your computer then follow the below steps.

  • First of all, click on Page Setup available in the top bar in Device and Printers.
  • Select all fields of Header and Footer as empty.
  • Deselect Shrink-to-fit option.
  • Enter the margin as below- left- 0.5, Right- 0.5, Top- 0.8, bottom- 0.75
  • Now click on the change font option and choose a font- Courier, Font Style- Regular, Font Size- 12.
  • Now, click on the Ok button two times.
