Merger of Postal Store Depot and Circle Stamp Depot in India Post

Recently, the Postal Directorate has been issued a letter regarding the rationalization or merger of Postal Store Depot and Circle Stamp Depot in India. 

List of newly created PSDs

Friends, here I am sharing a list of newly created PSD /CSD by merging existing PSDs or CSDs.

01. PSD Guwahati was created by the merging of existing CSD Guwahati and PSD Guwahati in Assam Postal Circle.

02. PSD Vijayawada was created by the merging of existing PSD Vijaywada, Guntakul, and Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh Circle.

03. PSD Patna was created by the merging of existing CSD Patna and PSD Patna in Bihar Circle.

04. PSD Delhi was created by the merging of existing CSD Delhi and PSD Delhi in Delhi Circle.

05. PSD Ahmedabad was created by the merging of existing CSD Ahmedabad, PSD Ahmedabad,  Rajkot, and Vadodara in Gujarat.

06. PSD Jammu was created by the merging of existing CSD Jammu and PSD Jammu in Jammu and Kashmir Circle.

07. PSD Bengaluru was created by the merging of existing CSD Bengaluru, PSD Bengaluru, and Hubli & Arskere in Karnataka Circle.

08. PSD Kochi was created by the merging of existing CSD Ernakulum, PSD Trivandrum, Thrissur, and Kozhikode in Kerala Circle.

09. PSD Bhopal was created by the merging of existing CSD Bhopal and PSD Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh Circle.

10. PSD Bhubneshwar was created by the merging of existing CSD Bhubneshwar, PSD Bhubneshwar, and Sambalpur in Odisha Circle.

11. PSD Ludhiana was created by the merging of existing CSD Ludhiana and PSD Ludhiana in Panjab Circle.

12. PSD Jaipur was created by the merging of existing CSD Jaipur, PSD Ajmer, and Jodhpur in Rajasthan Circle.

13. PSD Hyderabad was created by the merging of existing CSD Hyderabad and PSD Hyderabad in Telangana Circle.

14. PSD Kolkata was created by the merging of existing CSD Kolkata and PSD Kolkata, and Siliguri in West Bengal Circle.

15. PSD Mumbai was created by the merging of existing PSD Mumbai, Nasik, and Kolhapur in Maharashtra Circle.

16. PSD Nagpur will remain the same as PSD Nagpur.

17. PSD Lucknow was created by the merging of existing CSD Lucknow, PSD Lucknow, and Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh Circle.

18. PSD Aligarh was created by the merging of existing PSD Bareilly, and Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh Circle.

19. PSD Chennai was created by the merging of existing CSD Chennai and PSD Chennai in Tamilnadu Circle.

20. PSD Madurai was created by the merging of existing PSD Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirapalli, and Tirunelveli in Kerla Circle.
