What is PO and RMS accountant exam 2021

It is a departmental exam conducted by the Department of Post, which is scheduled every year as per the India post exam calendar issued by the Postal Directorate. Only Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant can appear in this LDCE exam but they have to fulfill eligibility conditions. When a postal assistant or sorting assistant will pass this LDCE accountant exam, he is promoted into an accountant post. Accountant paid 2800 grade pay as per 6th CPC. You can check the specific levels in the pay matrix table of the 7th CPC.

All postal assistants or sorting assistants (PAs/SAs) who have not less than 3 years continuous service including the period spent on training immediately before appointment as PA/SA on the last date fixed for the receipt of application and have been declared permanent before that date and have a consistently good record of service for the preceding 3 years.
