What is IPO Exam 2021 in Postal Departmental?
As we already know that every state and central government departments conduct various departmental examination. Same to same, the department of posts also conducts a departmental exam called LDCE (Limited Departmental Competitive Examination. IPO examination is one of the departmental exams of India Post.
IPO exam full form is the Inspector of Posts examination (inspector of post officer exam). The Inspector of Posts exam that will be held in 2021 is called IPO exam 2021.
The LDCE IPO Examination is conducted every year by the Directorate each year. Sometimes this exam can be conducted after two or three years by the Postal Directorate due to some reason. Last time IPO Exam 2019 was conducted on 16 November 2020 and 17 November 2020.

Who is eligible to appear in IP0 Exam 2021?
We already know that all applications are invited online. An online portal is already available on the internet to apply for this LDCE examination. Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Lower Section Grade (LSG) cadre postal departmental employee can apply for IPO LDCE examination. The official working in the PA/SA cadre should put in not less than eight years five years of regular service on the crucial date of eligibility.
IPO Exam 2021 Pattern
The pattern for Inspector Posts examination has already been circulated by the SPB-II section of the Directorate vide letter no. 7-14/2011-SPB.II (1) dated 27.03.2019 and 03.09.2019.

- 01. Paper I (300 marks)
- 02. Paper II (300 marks)
- 03. Paper III (300 marks)
- 04. Paper IV (300 marks)
Paper-I, II, and III have 150 questions of MCQ type. Paper IV has 125 questions of MCQ type and 50 questions of Noting & Drafting. Each exam is for 3 hours. You have to answer all questions in this duration only.
