  5. IFSC Code IPOS0000001 did not work in my case for transfer from HDFC Bank to Postal Bank after successful registration of beneficiary through NEFT.

NEFT was returned with remarks Account Does not Exist.

Sent a mail to Post Office Bank. Reply received is as under:
"There is no IFSC codes available for Post office a/cs. At present, you cannot add other bank accounts as third party payee. Only post office accounts can be added as third party payee."Though, I had asked whether I can add my IPB Account as beneficiary account in other banks.

Spoke to customer care, they simply told me that "System Down Hai".

I opened the account IPB netbanking account so that I can add money in PPF account through other bank but neither I am able to do NEFT nor transfer to PPF account due to different Cust. Id which needs to be merged. planning to close the IPB Netbanking & Linked Saving Account.

If postal authorities want to clarify my doubts, they can inform me at my mail id [email protected]
