Aadhar seeding facility is now available in post office SB 103 form & SB 7 form

An SB order has been issued by the postal directorate regarding the incorporation of Aadhar seeding facility in post office withdrawal form (post office SB-7 form) and pay in slip (post office SB-103 form), called SB order 29/2020
Now the post office will get Aadhar number from customers at the time of withdrawal and deposit transaction. A new feature is added in the post office deposit slip and withdrawal slip.

It has been decided by the competent authority to provide Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) facility for payment through the POSB account by a customer. It is also instructed that mobile number seeding should also be done by a counter clerk of the post office at the time of the transaction.

A rubber stamp impression should be printed with following line for use of old existing form (deposit SB-103 form and withdrawal SB-7 form)

Note: My Aadhar No.........................................................................may be seeded with my POSB account for availing DBT facility.


What are the changes in new revised post office SB-103 form and post office SB-7 form

The Postal Directorate also issued a revised post office SB-7 form  (post office withdrawal form) and post office SB-103 form (post office deposit form). The following line was added to the old deposit and withdrawal form.

Note: Aadhar seeding required for availing DBT benefits in the POSB account.
