International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21 June every year. International Yoga Day 2020 will also be celebrated on 21 June 2020 (Sunday)

An order has also been issued by section officer (Welfare and Sports)- Welfare and sports division of Postal Directorate. A letter is also attached by the Director of Ministry of Ayurveda which has a guideline on International Yoga Day 2020.

A text message is also circulated for participating in International yoga day on 21 June 2020. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, you and your family can join from your home by doing 45 minutes on 21 June 2020 at 7:00 AM.

International Yoga Day logo

Yoga is very helpful for human beings to develop physical and mental health.  A logo has also been created for Internationa Yoga Day. The brown leaves present in the International yoga day logo, symbolize the Earth element.

Ther green leaves symbolize nature. blue symbolizes the Water element, brightness symbolizes the Fire element and the Sun symbolizes the source of energy and inspiration.

The logo reflects harmony and peace for humanity, which is the essence of Yoga.
